Toll Stations

To preserve the high-quality standards of a modern motorway, continuous investment is required in monitoring, maintenance in infrastructure and services. Toll fees paid by users help finance part of these essential works.

In accordance with the institutional framework governing the operation of Egnatia Odos, toll rates per station are set as follows:

1. At mainline toll stations, per direction, based on the total length of the toll zone in which the station is located.
2. At ramp toll stations, charges are calculated according to the distance traveled. At exit ramp stations, the toll is based on the distance from the beginning of the relevant toll zone to the station, while at entry ramp stations it is based on the distance the user will travel from the toll station to the end of the toll zone.

Mainline toll stations on the main axis

Fourteen (14) mainline toll stations operate along the main axis of Egnatia Odos: Tyria, Pambotida, Malakasi, Siatista, Polymylos, Malgara, Thessaloniki, Analipsi, Asprovalta, Moustheni, Kavala, Iasmos, Mesti, and Ardanio. These stations are located at key points within the Regional Units of Ioannina, Trikala, Grevena, Kozani, Thessaloniki, Kavala, Rodopi, and Evros.

Mainline toll stations on vertical axes and off the main axis

Four (4) mainline toll stations operate on the vertical axes of Nea Egnatia Odos: Ieropigi (Siatista–Krystallopigi corridor), Evzonoi (Chalastra–Evzonoi), Strymoniko (Lagkadas Interchange–Strymoniko Interchange), and Promachonas (Strymoniko Interchange–Promachonas Border Station).

Ramp toll stations

In addition, seventeen (17) ramp toll stations are in operation: Panagia, Kalamia, Profitis, East Siatista, Polykastro, Asprovalta, Vagiochori, Galipsos/Orfani, Mesti, Vafeika, Komotini Industrial Area, Lagkadas (Ramps 1, 2, and 3), Moustheni, Eleftheroupoli, Agios Andreas (towards Kavala), Iasmos, and Asprochomata. Ramp toll stations are located at interchanges and local connections, ensuring fair charging based on the distance traveled.

2. Electronic payment via EgnatiaPass transponder
