With the aim to provide you accurate and complete information, we would like to inform you about the following:

- The EgnatiaPass devices (transponders) and relevant cards that you have at your disposal are used normally, as a transfer of balances of your accounts was implemented . As of 1 January 2026, no subscription program for the EgnatiaPass service is maintained in force. The EgnatiaPass devices (transponders) can also be used to all the motorways of Greece within the framework of interoperability, while correspondingly the transceivers of other motorways continue to operate normally on the Egnatia Odos motorway.
- Regarding road safety services, the four-digit Emergency Number 1077 remains in force. In addition, free roadside assistance services will be provided for the safe transfer of any stalled vehicle off the motorway and to a secure spot.
- Temporary traffic regulations to enhance safety in tunnels, to the maximum extent possible under current conditions, are being put into effect. These regulations are temporary and aim exclusively to ensure the safe passage of drivers until the commencement and completion of the planned heavy maintenance and upgrading works to the tunnels. The traffic regulations include the closure of one lane in the tunnels >500m. so in all the following tunnels drivers can use only 1 lane for their trips: Vassilikou, S2 Mesovouni & S3 Grika, Neochori, S1 Seliani & S2 Paramythia, S1N Agios Nikolaos, S2 Sellos – Agios Anastasios, Dodoni, Drisco, T8 Dematiou, Anthochori, Votonosi, Dyo Korifon, Krimno, Kalamio, Anilio, Metsovo, Kostarakos, S1 Panagia, S2 Sirtos, S2 Agnanteros & S3 Prionia, S4 Velanidios, S8 Koilomatos, S9 Karatzas, S1 Venetikos, S13 Polymylos, S12, S11, S10 Vermio, S1 Veria, Symvolos, Ieropigi, Krystallopigis. Additionally, all tunnels are included in a special regime of increased and intensive patrols with 27 patrol vehicles exclusively for the above sections, while fire safety alert teams with 57 vehicles will be parked in special positions at the tunnel entrances, ready to immediately manage any incident.
